In this interactive workshop pupils have the chance to play with toys popular in the past, developing a sense of chronology and looking at how toys have changed as technology has developed.
They think about and discuss the similarities and differences with the toys we have today, the materials they are made from, and who might have played with them, helping to develop a sense of context and social history around the history of toys.
This is an engaging, active session designed to help develop a deeper historical understanding whilst having lots of fun!

For smaller nursery and pre-school groups of younger children aged 3-4 we can also offer a shorter session of 35 minutes at a cost of £50 for up to 20 children.

- There is attention to good management and administrations during all aspects of the visit

- The statutory requirements are met and essential additional policies and strategies are in place.
