The Georgian Grade II* listed Town Hall has been fully restored and now sits proudly at the centre of our historic city.

Wonder at the imposing historic courtroom and atmospheric holding cells before heading upstairs to admire the beautiful Assembly Room. As you explore these pre-Victorian spaces, learn more about the stories these spaces tell and view our permanent and changing displays.

Free | 1 - 2 hours | Up to 32 children

Please note: Due to the size of the galleries, and the need to allow other visitors to explore at the same time, your class cannot tour the building as one group. Please ensure you have sufficient adults to allow your class to explore in groups of up to 10 children per group. All children must be accompanied at all times.
