In 2006, the Museum of St Albans recorded oral history relating to the South Asian Community in St Albans.

The following recordings are excerpts from these interviews, introducing specific times and events in the lives of residents of St Albans from India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan: their childhood, family life, studies first impressions of the UK, their perspective of St Albans and being a part of its South Asian community, and their work. 

These memories were shared with interviewers Eleanor Cowland and Dr John Beckerson.
