Linking to our exhibition of Ladybird Books, for Museum Minis in May our story is The Three Little Pigs written by Vera Southgate and illustrated by Robert Lumley. First published in 1965 this is one of the 'Well-Loved Tales' series from Ladybird.
In this classic fairy tale, the three little pigs leave home and build their own houses - one of straw, one of sticks and one of bricks. But what will happen when the big, bad wolf comes calling?
For our younger visitors Museum Minis and Tots Tales take place fortnightly on Fridays.
These fun one-hour long sessions for our youngest museum visitors and their grown-ups include a story and craft activity as well as a museum treasure hunt looking for objects or characters from the story.
