For Museum Minis in April our story is The Story Of The Artist Rana Begum: The Girl Who Played With Colour by Samira Ahmed and Humayra Kabir.
When young Rana moves to St Albans from a small village in Bangladesh, she has to get used to a new life. With no other way to communicate than with her colouring pencils, Rana takes to drawing to express herself. She finds her voice through her art – and a whole new world.
Hear the story, play with colours and shapes to create your own artwork and explore the trail around the museum including our current exhibition Rana Begum: Ordered Form
