Come and take part as over 350 puppets 'walk' the catwalk in the elegant Assembly Room in St Albans Museum + Gallery!

Celebrating 10 years of the puppet charity Young People’s Puppet Theatre, you'll be able to bring your own puppet along, make your own puppet on the day or borrow one of the puppets to walk down the catwalk!

Young People’s Puppet Theatre is a charity which boosts children’s confidence, resilience and creativity through large-scale puppetry projects. Over 10 years the charity has run around 150 projects with over 4,500 children in Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. They work mostly with primary schools, and also offer a summer camp in St Albans every year.

The charity is run by father and daughter team Jeremy and Caitlin Duschenes.

Productions are entirely child-led, with all puppets and sets created by the children. The children also take all roles in rehearsals and performances, from voice acting and puppetry to lighting, sound and stage management.
