There was a time when everybody mended their clothes. Even delicate materials such as the silk or nylon in tights and stockings would be darned, so that they could continue to be used long after they had become damaged, old or worn. Today, we are considering our environmental impact as well as the financial cost of our clothes. In this workshop you will learn the basic principles of darning, and hopefully you'll be inspired to have a go at home and help your clothes last that little bit longer! Suitable for absolute beginners.
