Volunteering at St Albans Museums is a great way to develop your skills, while supporting us to enhance the experience of our visitors.
Some opportunities are recruited for regularly (family craft activities, collecting visitor surveys), but others (collections documentation, exhibitions) are recruited for occasionally or only once.
At present our curatorial / collection volunteer roles are full.
Regular volunteering e.g: schools workshop support
These require a level of regular commitment, set time slots.
Irregular volunteering e.g: family craft activities, visitor surveys
No regular commitment, set time slots.
Flexible volunteering e.g: research, transcribing oral history recordings
No set time slots or commitment, volunteer from home / remotely.
