Hertfordshire Open 2020

Bringing together art in all its mediums – paintings and prints, film, photography and sculpture – the very first Hertfordshire Open creates a spectacle for all ages to enjoy.

Selected by an independent panel of judges and supporting Hertfordshire Year of Culture, this exhibition celebrates both established visual artists as well as new and emerging talent.

Because of the global health situation public events and exhibitions of this nature are currently not viable and we must do all we can to protect the safety of our communities and to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We still want to share the wide range of art that was submitted for the show and so we will be creating a digital version of the exhibition to showcase the selected artists’ works, to be launched on Friday 6 April via the UH Arts and St Albans Museum + Art Gallery websites.
