For a limited number of days in June you can combine a Tremendous Toys workshop with a visit to the temporary exhibition of Ladybird Books.
Session times are 11.15-12.15, 12.15-1.15 and 1.15-2.15 and are available from 3rd -21st June.
The cost of the session is £100 for up to 32 children including the use of shared space in the Assembly Room for your group to eat their packed lunches. All children will receive a branded St Albans stationery item to take away with them (while stocks last).
The Wonderful World of the Ladybird Book Artists runs from 10 May to 8 September 2024 at St Albans Museum + Gallery. Open daily 11am – 5pm.
Suitable for Reception and Year 1 classes, in this workshop your pupils will discover how children’s toys have changed over the past hundred years and identify some of the materials used to make them, as well as having some time to play with a variety of traditional toys.
For smaller nursery and pre-school groups of younger children aged 3-4 we are also offering a shorter session of 35 minutes at a cost of £50.
