This full-day heritage experience for Key Stage 3 combines a local area study with an in-depth investigation of the Peasants' Revolt.

Explore the contrast between the national and localised disputes, actions and outcomes, whilst  developing our students' source analysis skills and their understanding of the causes and consequences of the Peasants' Revolt.

This multi-site heritage day encompasses:

  • St Albans Museum + Gallery workshop
  • St Albans Cathedral workshop
  • Climbing the Clock tower
  • Audio walking tour taking in the key sites of the Peasants' Revolt in St Albans.

Due to the outside parts of this experience, we only run it up to October Half Term and then from after February Half Term.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full day experience, running from 9:30 - 15:30. If you need to ask for a shortened day for travel or coach reasons, some of your groups may not get to experience all of the day's elements.
