In our family clay workshops you will be guided through the process to make an object inspired by life in Roman Britain. Wealthy Romans lit their homes with small pottery lamps, fuelled by olive oil. These were often beautifully decorated. Join us at Verulamium Museum to craft your own clay lamp to take away with you.
